This surau is located inside Markaz Nur, an orphanage centre. Before this, the surau was practically bare but despite its condition, it is still used by the orphans and the community as the nearest other surau is quite far. Alhamdulillah, now that it got a facelift, the Muslims of this community will be more encouraged to use it.

This surau has a capacity of 60 devotees.

It is also the venue for the halaqat (Qur'an memorization) of 30 or so children from the community.

For this renovation, copies of Qur'an, blackboard and bookshelf are also provided for the halaqat

Banyak Surau dan Masjid yang memerlukan pembaikan

Banyak surau dan masjid di Mindanao memerlukan pembaikan. Atap yang bocor, cat di dinding yang sudah terlalu kotor di makan masa, tikar solat yang sudah terlampau usang dan tiada kipas angin (menyebabkan seringkali para jamaah kepanasan, terutamanya jamaah wanita) adalah antara pembaikan-pembaikan yang diperlukan.

Tibalah masanya untuk kita bertindak dan memberi sumbangan! Jangan hanya NATO (no action, talk only) atau O.I.C. (Oh, I see.. ).
